I'm Nathan. At Bluetab I'm a Data Engineer and Tech Lead building PySpark pipelines on AWS for BBVA Argentina. At Soulft I ship production SaaS (CRM, ERP and POS) with NestJS, React and PostgreSQL. 2+ years. I like finding why the numbers don't add up.

    client: BBVA Argentina

    • Develop and maintain sustainability data pipelines in PySpark on AWS (SageMaker, EMR, Glue, Athena, S3 with partitioned Parquet) using the Datio platform SDK.
    • Found the root cause of ~3,000 contracts dropped by historical join logic in a corporate dashboard; the finding was validated by Global Data Hub (Spain) and led to a fix proposal.
    • Led financial data reconciliations for credit-card contracts, fixing duplicates, faulty joins and configuration errors in production partitions through backfills and deduplication.
    • Replicated Control-M job chains across 4 years of historical data and optimized Athena SQL on partitioned tables.
    • As Tech Lead, give the team structured feedback (SBI model) and coordinate with business and global teams.

    • Redesigned role-based authorization with CASL, closing security gaps across frontend, API and data layers.
    • Implemented race-condition-safe order numbering and receipt printing on thermal printers.
    • Built bulk CSV import with upsert and a MercadoLibre integration for a mobile-device inventory system (SmartConnect).

Pipelines and products

I'm based in Valledupar, Colombia. I studied Software Analysis and Development at SENA and I'm finishing a B.S. in Systems Engineering at UNAD, while working across two disciplines that usually live in separate teams: data engineering and full-stack development.

That combination is the point. When I build a pipeline, I think about the product that will consume it. When I build a product, I know where its data comes from and what it costs to move.

I also use AI deliberately, not as autocomplete: a multi-agent workflow with Claude Code for planning and Codex CLI for implementation, project conventions versioned in CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md, and custom skills and MCP integrations.
